Randy is a graduate of Michigan State University, where he was introduced to the lovely young lady, Barb, who would become his wife and the mother of their six children. After teaching middle school English for three years, Randy attended Covenant Theological Seminary. From there, the Greenwalds moved to Bradenton where Randy has been the pastor of HPC since 1985. Randy is a fan of hopeless causes, like MSU football, and formerly hopeless causes, like the Tampa Bay Rays. He is grateful though that there are causes that are not hopeless: "For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD as the waters cover the sea." (Habakkuk 2:14)
