Hope School
Hope School provides oversight and accountability for a number of home schooling families in the greater Bradenton area. It is administered by a school board appointed by and accountable to the session of Hope Church. Its purpose is to assist parents who choose to home school their children by providing record keeping, testing, and overall accountability for the parents. Hope School is recognized as a private school in the state of Florida and provides record transfers to and from other schools, testing services, and transcripts for its members. For those who meet the graduation requirements, diplomas are issued. We enroll students from Kindergarten through 12th grade. A nominal tuition is charged. Membership in the school is limited to those who are recommended by current members of the school. The membership process involves the submission of an application with references from current members as well as an interview by the board members. Hope School works hard to open up opportunities for its members. We have a matriculation agreement with Florida Virtual School which allows our students to take courses from the Florida Virtual School. We also have a dual-enrollment agreement with Manatee Community College which enables our older students to take courses at MCC. For our high school students, we occasionally offer courses taught by qualified teachers on specialized subjects. Contact Information RESOURCES
