Growth as Christians is greatly enhanced by our learning as Christians. The Christian education period at HPC, 11:15 am to noon on Sundays, is aimed at creating an environment where Christians can reflect on what we believe and how we apply what we belief to the lives we live. 

On any given Sunday, there will be at least two classes meeting. One of those classes will be tilted more in the direction of 'things we should know' and one tilted toward 'things we should do'. However, knowledge and application are components of all that we teach.

We encourage our adult teachers to facilitate discussion in the classes. As well, we encourage our teachers to respect those who may take a position or point of view which differs from the teacher or differ from the stated position of the church. We want to grow and learn together through honest wrestling with truth.
