Adult Christian Education / Scandalous Freedom

"In anticipation of the upcoming Steve Brown conference, we will be holding an adult Sunday school class on Steve's book Scandalous Freedom. For three Sundays, beginning November 1, we will discuss the content of the book, and then on the fourth Sunday, November 22, we will have a chance to interrogate Steve directly on those questions we have from it. This is a rare opportunity to read an author's book and then be able to discuss it directly with him. I'd encourage us to read the book. Copies can be ordered here. For those who will not have ...

Congregational Meeting/Fellowship Lunch

Following the Worship service on Sunday, join us for a Congregational Information meeting and plan on staying for lunch afterwards. The meeting will begin at 11:15AM followed by lunch around noon. Bring a dish to share (casserole, dessert, etc) and plan on staying for the meeting and lunch.

Habitat for Humanity

Habitat for Humanity will host a home dedication on Saturday, October 10 at noon to celebrate the Hill and Newton homes. The homes are located at 2nd Ave. W. and 25th St. W. in Palmetto. Some of you have helped to build these homes and may enjoy seeing the finished product and meeting the families who will live in them.
