Ora: a time of corporate prayer ...many were gathered together and were praying. (Acts 12:12b) In order to encourage the critical practice of corporate prayer in the life of the church, we invite members and friends to return the first Sunday evening of each month for this purpose. We call this ‘Ora' (Latin for ‘prayer') to mark the special nature of this time. Here is the latest news from Carla Stevens who is currently serving in Belize. Carla will be returning to the States in November to focus on a new/revised mission field. Lots to pray for in the days ahead.

Lots of exciting things are happening for the Padilla and Smith families. The Padilla's are hosting their annual neighborhood block party this Saturday. Pray for a good day as they seek to connect with their neighbors. The Smith family are going through a time of transition as Allison and Benjamin head to school in different cities and Peg prepares to join Ron in the Caribbean. Please keep these families and their many needs before the Lord in prayer.
